Who are we?
HomeGround is an independent cafe serving great coffee and delicious homecooked food in the heart of Central Milton Keynes.
Where we are & what we do...
Located on North Sixth Street, on the ground floor of the new YMCA campus, HomeGround gives YMCA residents an opportunity to work and gain full independence. Whether it’s food preparation, barista training or customer service, a young person gains practical work experience, the qualifications and the confidence needed in a public-facing environment to help them thrive.
Our ethos
Our ethos is independence and we champion this through our coffee, menu and the opportunities we offer the young people who work with us. As an independent café, we work with many independent and socially focussed suppliers such as the Wooden Hill Coffee Company.
The environment
The environment we aim to offer our customers is one of homeliness, where you can expect a warm welcome and exceptional service.
